We have been coming to Seldovia since 1993. One of our dreams was to be able to purchase a summer cabin as a getaway place. Six years ago our dream came true and we were able to move to Seldovia on a full time basis. We purchased a house on Lake Susan and then a year and a half later sold it to our friends from Anchorage that were here on a week-end visit. They fell in love with Seldovia much the way we did.

We were then able to purchase the house at 194 Main Street. After an extensive remodel, that took a year and a half, it is now our home and Harbor's Edge Vacation Home Rental for our guests. We often say that we have died and gone to heaven. We enjoy coffee every morning looking at the view of the small boat harbor. It is a picture that neither of us ever gets tired of. On a sunny morning you can see Iliamna towering in the distance and the view is breathtaking. The sunsets are some of the most beautiful that we have ever seen, no matter where we have been. We love to share all this with all our old and new friends.

Seldovia is also the base port for Harbor's Edge Charters and Tours. This gives us the ability offer custom fishing and site seeing trips to our guests.
